Junior Lesson Camps

2009-2010 Winter Season

IMPORTANT NOTICE: We are offering all of our January Junior Lesson Camp participants make-up days in March for those that will be missed the last two weekends in January.  Our make-up days are scheduled for the following days: March 20, 21, 27 & 28.

You are welcome to join us for any two of the above days.  There is no need to regisiter for your make-up days, simply check in at 8:30am as you have done before.

The Cypress Mountain Snow School offers a host of drop-in and multi-day ski & Snowboard lesson programs to suit your needs and ability. Convenient lesson times and knowledgeable, friendly instructors make these packages excellent value no matter what your skill level.

All Snow School students 18 & Under are required to wear a Helmet.  Helmet rentals are available in our rental centre.

Junior Lesson Camp (ages 7-14)
This popular ski or snowboarding 4-day camp includes full supervision from 9:30am - 3:30pm, full day lift tickets on the day of the lessons and full day equipment rentals (with rental option).

Christmas Camp Dates

Regular Camp Dates
January Saturdays: 2, 9, 16, 23             
January Sundays: 3, 10, 17, 24

All participants receive report cards and a ribbon for participating!

PLEASE CHECK IN every morning by 8:30am at the Cypress Creek Lodge lower level.

Proceed to rentals (if required) and then take your child to the Cypress Creek Grill (level 2) of the Cypress Creek Lodge.


Lunches
Your child must stay with their instructor for the entire day including the lunch period. Lunches can be brought from home or purchased from us in the morning when you check in, the program lunch is $11.00 and includes a sandwich, a bag of chips, a juice box, and a cookie. There is storage available for a SMALL bag for a lunch, a snack, a thermos and extra clothing and mitts. Parents are not able to have lunch with the children during the program nor can your child be taken to the cafeteria to purchase lunch.

Weather on the mountain is subject to change. Please dress your child accordingly. Please ensure that your child has a HELMET, goggles, sunglasses, and sunscreen, ski/snowboard gloves or mittens – not cotton or wool - and an extra sweatshirt or fleece for those cooler days. It is advisable to have your child's name on all his/her belongings and equipment. We also recommend extra gloves or mittens and socks – especially for snowboarders.

 

Check Out

Please pick up your child at 3:30 pm. You MUST sign your child out with the instructor. If you are not picking up your child, we require a signed permission letter from you authorizing another individual to take your child home.

We hope your child will be able to attend each day. It is very important that your child attend their specific camp dates.
