2009–2010 Winter Season

A large variety of Cross Country Skis, Skate Skis & Snowshoes are available for rent. Cypress Mountain carries the newest in top performance gear, that will allow you to learn with more confidence and ease.

The Rental Shop is located in the Nordic Base Area across from the Guest Relations Office. You will need a credit card, photo ID for a security deposit as well as payment you can also use cash or debit to purchase rentals. Youths and Children may use parent's card with phone authorization. Once you have proceeded through the rentals cashier you will then be assisted to pick up your rental gear.

When you are up on the North Shore Mountains, weather conditions can change rapidly. It is a great thing to come prepared with a few different options of clothing for anytime of the day. Hat, waterproof gloves, waterproof jacket, waterproof pants, long underwear, warm socks; solid footwear are important things to have. Sunglasses and sunscreen are a good idea to have for sunny days!

If you do not have outerwear such as waterproof pants or a waterproof jacket, both can be rented at the mountain. The Nordic Area has a small retail counter which sells everything from hats, gloves, sunglasses and basic ski wax if you do not have any of your own and would like to purchase some.

Snowshoe trails will be closed at dusk, with the exception of those participating in guided Snowshoe Tours.
